John Zdanowski is a co-founder and a principal of Three Oaks Group LLC. He is responsible for all of the company’s property and facilities management in West Michigan as well as all construction, renovation, and technology projects. He has been involved in the local real estate market since 1998 as an investor, manager, and renovator of numerous residential and commercial properties in Michigan, and has been recognized by the cities of Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids for his work on various historic renovation projects. Prior to forming Three Oaks, Mr. Zdanowski was employed by Microsoft Corporation for 11 years, retiring with distinction in August 2001. At Microsoft, Mr. Zdanowski successfully built, launched, and managed numerous business units as well as several high-level strategic development projects for Microsoft’s largest corporate accounts. In addition to development, Mr. Zdanowski managed technical sales teams responsible for Ford Motor Company, Compaq, Pepsi, BP Oil, Dell, Exxon, Dow, and Proctor and Gamble. He received the Central Region Manager of the year award in 1997 and numerous sales and consulting awards during his tenure at Microsoft. Mr. Zdanowski earned his B.A. in Accounting and Financial Administration from Michigan State University in 1983 along with his CPA certificate in 1986. Mr. Zdanowski has been a resident of Ann Arbor for 20 years, is married, and has three school age children.
