

Teresa L. Welsh is a co-founder and a principal of Three Oaks Group LLC. She is also the Managing Member of Maplehurst Group, LLC, a tax and consulting service that also serves as a principal of several real estate investment companies. Ms. Welsh has extensive financial, tax, and investment expertise, particularly in real state. From 1984 to 2002, she was a senior executive with McKinley Associates, Inc., a national real estate firm with $2,000,000,000 in assets under management. At McKinley, Ms. Welsh served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, and a member of the company’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee. She held primary responsibility for property acquisitions and dispositions, debt refinancing and restructuring, and strategic planning issues. Ms. Welsh was also actively involved in stock and real estate limited liability investments, syndications, workouts, and financing through banks, private placements, insurance companies and conduits. Ms. Welsh has been recognized by the City of Ann Arbor twice, once for her work in green space development, and again by the Historic District Commission for work in historic preservation. She is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Washtenaw Area Apartment Association and the Humane Society of Huron Valley and its Finance and Governance Committee. She is also a past Director and current member of CREW-Detroit, the southeastern Michigan chapter of CREW Network. Ms. Welsh holds an MBA with High Distinction from the University of Michigan and is a member of two honorary societies, Beta Alpha Psi and Beta Gamma Sigma. She is a licensed real estate broker and Certified Public Accountant and has been a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA) since 1983. Ms. Welsh has lived in Ann Arbor for more than 25 years and has two school age children.
