Suits From Suits Program

to Cover Kids

With Safety This Summer

For the second year, Paul Goebel Group is teaming up with the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids to sponsor Suits From Suits; a resourceful program designed to distribute gently used swimsuits to disadvantaged children, ages 6 to 10, and provide the opportunity to participate in water safety and instruction programs.

Paul Goebel Group is encouraging business professionals (aka “Suits”) to participate in Suits From Suits, either by donating suits or with a $50 contribution that will provide a child with: swimwear, aquatic safety training, swim lessons—and a memorable summer. Make checks payable to: Suits From Suits YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids.

Says Ron Nelson, president and CEO, YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids, “The summer season is quickly approaching so I encourage parents and children shopping for new swimwear to first gather and then donate outgrown and unused swimsuits to this worthwhile cause.”

Suit donation drop-off locations: David D. Hunting Family YMCA; Wolverine World Wide Family Branch; Gainey Family YMCA; Visser Family Branch and the Waters Building in Kent County. Suits From Suits financial donations can be mailed to: YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids, 475 Lake Michigan Drive NW, Grand Rapids, MI  49504
